Hi all. I'm learning Snowdrop in open C (gCGCE). When I play the top F# of the opening phrase, it resonates very unpleasantly. It sounds quite harsh and metallic as opposed to the bell-like tone the other high notes give. On tuning back into double C I notice the same effect fretting the same note 2 frets higher, so I guess it is a clash of resonances, possibly with those 2 G notes on the open strings?
Any advice on how to get rid of it?
