I just started playing with Old G tuning ( gDGDE) the first tune that I'm trying to learn with this tuning is Sandy river Belle, for now I found Old G a nice tuning and it work great with Sandy River Belle and some other tunes. Do you use this tuning for the most of G tunes? Is it really Older than Standard G tuning?
