Hi. Found Banjo Hangout and was very glad I did. Just bought a used "no name or markings" banjo in a Nashville antique shop. Projected age at around the 1950's. I live in Olmsted Falls, Ohio ( a suburb of Cleveland) and cannot find a near me banjo teacher. What advice would anyone give me regarding the best beginning books, online, etc to get me started from how to hold, finger placement, picks to buy, etc.. I did buy an electronic tuning device, and it sounds pretty good. (I can add photos if anyone wants to help me guess the make). Anyhow, thanks in advance for any advice. ps. I did take music lessons as a kid many, many years ago. The accordion, and did read music....Now, my hands are a bit slower, but I have always loved the sound and would feel like I have accomplished something if I could play a good starter song by the end of March (this year) :) Thanks. Marty
