Please help "translate" the following song. It's Green Acres, it looks like fun, and I'd love to play it.
There are so many threads about (1) how to turn bluegrass into clawhammer and (2) turning melody notes into CH. This will hopefully be beneficial to me and others as we'll be able to "see" the translation.
The first 8 bars (frames?) are the intro and easily played CH.
So please look at bars 9-13. These are the lyrics "Greeeen Acres is the place to be."
How is the BG translated to CH?
The melody tab on "Green" is open 5th string, but on the BG tab it's open 3rd string. Why is that? Does that mean the eventual CH tab will be different depending on which tab, the BG or melody, that you choose to translate?
Which one is easier to change or work with?
I really want to learn to do this so I can learn to do it with other songs.
I'm not sure I'm being clear with my questions, but it may be because I'm confused as well. Please free to ask me to clarify anything. The link to the tab/midi/.tef is below. (I hope it's alright I put the link. If its not, tell me.)
