Hey All,
So I've arrived at the point in my playing where I can figure out how to play tabbed music (with enough time and patience), and I can usually pluck out the melody of a song after I've listened through a couple times. What is your process for taking that basic melody and turning it into something that you both want to hear and want to play? Some songs the melody is almost enough, others it seems like the melody is basically one note repeated for a measure or two, and then the next note for a measure or two - and to me that is both boring to play and unbearable to listen to.
Thoughts?
