aanybody here familiar w/ a WV  CLAWHAMMER BANJO PICKER NAME OF LEE BLANKENSHIP. i GOT TO HERE HIM PLAY @  a festival @ huntersville wv in the late 1970's and subsequentially got a "cassette of three tunes from a guy in hinton  wv name of jimmy costa wh/ featured all three tunes wh/ mr. blankenshiip played. " boatmanns dance. lost indian, and another tune untitled. Perhaps he had a small repetoire? I asked lee hammons for those who know him a few years later and he rememberede blankenship as a " little kid playing in the yard". with all due respect mr. blankenship was a superior player' who seemed to favor a lets say a double c tuning w/ his fifth string tuned to the second fret of his first string. if you summon up wade ward on youtube, he plays a version of " lost indian in much the manner of mr. blankenship
