In her clawhammer playing on Last Train, it sounds like Washburn is using some type of triplet figure. You can see her playing here easier than on the album -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hffRmGrik8k . After the intro, when the song start in, I think on the first chord, where she is playing a C (and is in double C turning), she down strikes one of the inner strings, hammers on the first string/second fret and thumbs the 5th string - all within one beat. But then she moves onto the other chords and it sounds like this triplet figure is still running, but I can't make out how she is playing it. At times it almost looks like she is drop thumbing. Whatever she is doing, it gives the song a nice driving rhythm and I'd like to figure it out. Any advice is most appreciated.
