You all have been so helpful in helping select my first banjo, what gage strings to you, and providing resources for placing the bridge and what gage what strings to use. I really do appreciate it.
My question, when tuning in open G, do I have to make sure the string is in a particular octive? I happen to have a Korg OT-120 which shows the octive, so it would be easy to do. If so, can someone tell me what octive
each string should be in.
