i went to the Guitar center in town and bought some finger picks to play my banjo with. i just bought this banjo and no nothing about how to fit them or sizes available. all i know is these are way to small for me as i have pretty big hands and need something much larger, are they available? these only come up on the sides of my fingers and not over the top so i have to pinch them hard for them to stay on and after 10 minutes i have to take them off and get the blood running again. i also noted there was a .018 on the picks , is that a size or a thickness and as a beginner what should i be starting with? as usual all good advice will be appreciated.
