Hi all. I can't get to a music camp this year so I thought, while my family was away for part of July, I'd devote some of each day over a week for more intensive than usual practice. I'm looking for one or two good videos or online instruction, or any other suggestions. Just to place me: been playing clawhammer a few years, know perhaps 25 tunes (no really difficult versions), can drop and double thumb fine, can't really 'chuck' or do to many other such things. I'd like a video that teaches some good tunes at intermediate level while adding some more technique. Perhaps also something to help with jamming or playing by ear. (I always take my mandolin to jams, as it's my first instrument, and haven't had the nerve to bring a banjo to an old time jam yet.) I'm also working my way through Ken Perlman's book; other book suggestions would also be welcome. And finally, any available videos that would just be fun to watch. (I've seen 'Why Old Time?' and have watched some of Craig Evan's builder videos.) Thanks!
