Wooden Tone Ring and Nylon (Nylgut, etc.) Strings

Hi All,

I'm wondering about the sound/tone I might get from pairing a wooden tone ring (say a Ramsey Woody for example?) with nylon strings. If anyone out there has tried this set up I'd love to hear what you think.

On a related note... is there a difference between a "wooden tone ring" as Ramsey describes and a "wooden tone rim" as Ome describes (on their Wizard for example)?
