I have been playing a year or two and would love some suggestions for getting the third finder down :-)
I'm trying to learn a song which requires me to move from G to C, specifically brushing the strings in C straight after a G. Not exactly earth shattering news I know! My problem is that I spent the first year or two fretting only the strings I needed to of C, namely the first and second string. My problem is I really need to fret the whole chord and my ring finger hasn't really caught on to the fact it should go down at the same time as the smug index and middle!
I am guessing that the solution is practice practice practice, endless bum-ditty rhythms between G and C. However if you have any tips, cute practice routines or lessons on how to get my ring finder onboard it would be great to hear them!
Many thanks in advance!
