I'm hoping my sheer determination and stubborness will finally get me success when learning this new skill. I'm on the basics.....trying to slowly sound each string independently and then in random order. my hands are somewhat limited due to having M.S. so I'm holding a credit card with my clawhammer hand which helps it be is good position. Not doing anything yet with my left....that will come easy enough as I used to be a banjo picker. This right hand claw thing is my big challenge but I'm determined . I've ordered a couple of clawhammer books....and I even am playing with a full length mirror in front of me to help me SEE what it is I'm doing. Getting those middle strings.......there's the rub!
