Hi, y'all,
Got a strange question here. Any one ever tried playing clawhammer
with a five string, where the bottom four were tuned GDAE, low to high?
I bought an awesome open back Weymann tenor with a skin head,
and chanced to hit it with a fingernail on the downstroke. The sound
was what exactly I have been looking for. I can play a lot of Irish tunes
on the tenor, clawhammer style, but my thumb feels lonely.
