The Crabtree Family is looking for any banjos made by Hobart Crabtree in the style of the Whyte Lady. My profile picture is one of those banjos.

Additionally, we are looking for any historical information, anecdotes, awards, commendations or information anyone may have to contribute to the historical collection the family is putting together for preservation. The family has just donated hours of musical tapes made by Hobart Crabtree to Mountain Empire Community College Library. The library is cataloging and digitizing those tapes for public access.

My husband, Tony Crabtree, is currently working toward digitizing all of Hobart's many album releases that we have the master tapes for.

If you have tapes of Hobart playing that  you would be willing to share, please contact Tony Crabtree at tonycrabtree42 (@) gmail (dot) net.

If you have historical pamphlets, brochures, information or anecdotes that involve Hobart, please forward them to Dia Crabtree at craftydia(@)gmail(dot)com.

or mail them to

The Crabtree family appreciates you helping us keep Hobart's musical legacy alive.

Cordially,

Dia Crabtree, Family Historian
