Ok so I'm a slow learner, and I'm comfortable with that, but I am a learner and tunes do eventually come to me, that's not my issue. My issue here is when should i move onto another tune? For example I've just spent several months getting a tune learned and I can now play it at a reasonable speed and I don't need to look at the tab at all any more (haven't looked at the tab for over a week in fact). Does this mean I can move on to another tune as long as I keep playing all of my tunes (which I do pretty much everyday)?
Another quick question about tunings. So far I have only learned tunes in G, would you guys recommend changing tunings sooner or later? I can currently play about 6 tunes well in G but when I look at tunes I want to play some are in sawmill or double C.
