I'm in the market for a capo and was hoping to get your advice. Here's my requirements:
- not more than $20. Spending that sort of cash for some metal and a spring seems bonkers to me
- has to store on the headstock or behind the nut--digging around in my pocket on stage is tacky at best
- needs to be able to capo above the 5th fret
I've got a Shubb for my guitar--it works great as a capo, but is a royal pain when it's not on the guitar or if you need to capo at different spots on the neck in the same set. Before that, I always used Kayser--I'm leaning towards going back that direction. Of course, there's a million cheap capos on ebay...I'm also tempted to roll the dice there. For what I'd spend on a G7th, I could try about 10 fleabay capos.
Thoughts?
