This evening I happened to be practicing in a semi-public place and I looked up and saw three kids sitting on the stairs watching me around a corner.
I held up the banjo and said, "Do you want to give it a try?"
They did and they were eager, but I wasn't quite sure how to help them have a quick, positive experience with the instrument.
Suggestions?
I'm sure the same kind of thing will happen again and I love it when it does. Next time I want to be better prepared.
(Posting in Clawhammer and Old-Time Styles because that's what I play.)
