In BG playing, the "Holy Grail" always seems to be the pre-war Gibsons, or the pre-war designs like Huber, Yates, etc. So I got to wondering, what is the most sought after Banjo or Banjo design in the Open Back, OT, clawhammer realm? White Layde? Tubaphone? To be clearer, what is the "Holy Grail" open back banjo or banjo sound that is most coveted? Thanks! I can't wait to hear the responses.
