I know nail maintenance has been heavily discussed on the forum, but just wanted to tell people that I've gotten good results using clear 1/2" scotch tape to protect my frailing nail. I read about a year or so ago that Ken Perlman did this, but didn't try it until now.
Besides protecting my index nail, I think it has improved the tone. There's a less "clicky" sound.
The only problem I'm having is the tape doesn't stick very well to the underside of my nail, so sometimes I have extra tape hanging off the end of my nail.
Does anybody else do this? And does anyone know if there's extra sticky tape that'll stick to the underside of my nail or have any solution for this (minor) problem?
