Minstrel banjo instruction

Got myself a Terry  Bell Boucher minstrel banjo, tuned it dGDF#A:

Looking for an instructor in the Bay Area of California  who favors the tablature approach.

[ BIll Evans has kindly offered minstrel lessons, but he takes a notation approach (reading the original 1855 Briggs tunes in the original notation), but I would prefer a tablature approach.  But might still take some lessons from Bill, the "master".]
