I was sipping a cup of coffee this morning watching the warm haze slowly burn away in Nashville and I thought of you, the folks who have taken the time to listen to my music. A few years ago I was living in a cabin on the side of Buffalo Mountain in the wilds of Floyd County, VA where I decided the most important thing as an artist was to be able to share what I felt was some really beautiful music.
I started giving my record away for free on noisetrade and it has been an unbelievable success, to date more than 15,000 of y’all have downloaded it. So this here letter is to say thank you, this has been an amazing experience, and each one of you has made it happen.
All I hope for now is that I can continue to share my stories, adventures and music with you and that this fledgling list may carry on as home grown community of fans. I will be on tour the rest of the summer with Old Crow Medicine Show sharing musings from the road on this list and the myriad of other social media sites.
