Hello TOTW fans,
Next week, I'm signed up to do TOTW and was looking for a unused tune that the OldTime crowd would relish. As you know--there are hundreds of tunes up on that list.
What you don't know is its been raining about 40 days and nights in Tallahassee--which is even driving some of the fiddlers out in the woods crazy with cabin fever--and my old friend, Kay Van Treese even drove in from the next county for an afternoon of playing a few tunes.
So we recorded this little version of "Shooting Creek" for TOTW next week--but when I browsed through the already posted tunes again--there it was--already there in the middle of 2012.
Thankfully--we also recorded a more obscure tune too (not telling ahead of time) that you may like even better. But since we went to all the trouble to video "Shootin' Creek" thought you may enjoy it anyway. :)
Sorry we didn't spruce up for it--as we didn't know we'd be videoing in advance--it was kind of a last minute thing. I had to stick around the house all afternoon anyway because the hot tub boys were coming to clean and chemical etc and we had to wait around to let them in the house.
