Hi All!
I have been playing clawhammer banjo for about 9 months and I am loving it. I am taking lessons every few weeks or so, and I feel like I have some nice momentum building to continue learning and developing as a player. I am going to be traveling for almost a month coming up and I am concerned about losing all of the practice and comfort I have built up so far. I would really hate to regress and start over. I was wondering if anyone who has been away from playing for about a month has any advice on what to expect? I have been saving for a nicer banjo (I have used Deering Goodtime), but instead of upgrading I am considering purchasing a smaller travel banjo to take with me so I can keep practicing while being away. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Jason
