I've talked to a few of you about this already, but it's been quite some time ago so I thought I would just post again to see if there were any new interested parties. I'm looking for some regular lessons in the style of clawhammer, but I'm also interested in two-finger way of playing. I just recently moved to Anchorage, where I've been searching for a teacher without any luck at all. The funny thing is, I moved here from Eastern Tennessee, where the banjo players are pretty commonplace but now I'm forced to look to the interwebs for guidance. I don't have the proper set up for the lessons yet, but as soon as I find someone, I'll purchase a webcam. I've been playing and practicing a lot lately, but I'm still very much a beginner. I've just started getting the bum ditty strum down and a few chords but I don't really know any songs yet. I'm looking for someone who could give me lessons pretty regularly, hopefully once a week or two, and someone who could tab things out for me, and obviously I am willing to pay you for your very valuable time. I could send payments via mail by check, or pay pal. Let me know if you or someone you know might be interested!
