We are lucky that we have a Klezmer Jam Leader who is temporarily living in our area, and a few weeks ago, I was bitten by the "Klawhammer Klezmer Banjo Bug."
I started a Klezmer Music topic on my web site that shows examples of the songs, musical notations, links to videos, and in some cases, clawhammer banjo tabs, for which I publicly want to thank BHO member and friend, Carl Baron.
I play by ear. I find this music fairly easy to follow, but if anyone has tablature they would like to add to my site, please email me (banjojudy@gmail.com) the tabs and you will be credited and thanked publicly. I don't currently write tab, so another question is, what is the simplest and easiest tab writing program (free) that can be used?
Here's a link to the Klezmer portion of my web site. http://www.banjojudy.com/klezmer-music/
Carl's tabs are there, and I even recorded myself playing "Der Broiges Tantz"
The site will continue to grow as more information is gathered. Please do not be shy about emailing me and asking questions and providing input and information.
