I've read this on the hang out and never tried it, but I'm really glad i just did.
well the other day in a moment of absent mindedness, i cut my nail on the right hand. I did not realize what i had down until i began to pick. i cut them the same as on my left, real short.
well i know you can see how this would be a problem.
this mooring while i was jamming along to the old time jam web sight, it dawned on me. i grabbed my old finger pick that i had laying around for years. i grabbed my heavy duty mettle shears. then i put the picks on my fingers took a magic marker, drew a line where my nails should be and cut of the tips. my god does this work well. if you have not tried it, i suggest you do. in that case of the broken nail, this is the life saver.
the only thing is, i wish i had two more
