open back for occasional bluegrass playing?

Forgive me if this topic has been covered. so, i'm getting on very well with Dan's "from scratch" book (all tunes are in double d tuning) and i've decided to keep my goldtone w/l tuned to double"D". i'm very interested in learning a little "folk" banjo.i also have Dans "folk banjo" book, and years ago i learned to play bluegrass banjo! so i have a good knowledge of the banjo neck in"G". I'm looking for a bright sounding open back banjo that i will keep tuned in "G" that might allow me to accompany myself, and let me play a little b/grass  from time to time.Any suggestions?
