I recently bought a Deering Vega Little Wonder that was made in 2002. It was being sold by a very nice fellow helping a friend. The owner of the banjo became ill shortly after purchasing it and was never really able to play it. Not long ago he was hospitalized and his friend was helping him sell many of his possessions to raise money for his hospital bills. When I received the banjo....which was in brand new condition...it included some learning materials and The Banjo Players Song Book.....what a great surprise....the book contains over 200 great songs and I love it. I know the more experienced players probably know about the book but I wanted to make sure anyone who hasn't heard of it has a chance to check it out....it's great fun and contains many of the classic tunes. I felt bad when I heard the story about this individual and little guilty that I was taking his banjo and that he wouldn't be able to play it again. Then I started working through the book, fell in love with the banjo and realized that I'm just taking over where he left off. I will care for his banjo and play it every day. I hope this makes him feel good. Rick
